I was really excited to test out my new Cap 232 R/C plane. I stuck a Keychain Spycam on it, plus I had my brother record video from the ground. The plane was rated for a .15 – .25 engine, and small servos and battery pack. I decided to stick my old trusty .46 engine on it, and installed standard sized receiver and servo equipment. BAD IDEA! The plane was supposed to weigh 3.5 lbs. but it weighed in at 4.63 lbs! Plus, it was a bit tail heavy. It stalled out all over the sky, and finally crashed after tip-stalling in a steep bank. RIP poor Cap 232. I have been flying my helicopter non-stop to try to forget about this dark day! Now on to the next project…
