Pre-flight tour of my plane and some FPV video before I crashed it on May 8, 2011. I’m not fully FPV flying at this point, not using the video to fly, but controlling the plane by normal LOS RC. Was first day flying it and didn’t want too many complications, as I’ve not flown by FPV yet and needed to test the plane. The plane flew better than expected, considering the extra weight and drag of the GoPro and my heavy duty pan & tilt camera mount. It’s a “little hot rod” was a comment by another RC flyer. A big issue was that the gears used to pan the camera were loosely joined, allowing the camera to swing back-n-forth. I modified that and it should be fixed now.
