Footage captured at Phelps Field in Phoenix, Az. Sept 2011. Just couldn’t resist the temptation to strap FPV gear on my RC Tank. It’s actually a gas piloting the tank via FPV. The fact that the tank actually shoots plastic airsoft BB’s just adds to the fun! Tank Detail: Heng Long 1:16 scale German Tiger RC Battle Tank. It has stock motors and electronics but has been upgraded with metal gears and tracks. A RMRC-420 OSD Camera is mounted just behind the turret, this gives the camara full 360 pan. Audio/Video signal sent via 900mHz 500mw TX. No data logging or OSD employed. Ground Station: EagleEyes ground station module, ReadyMadeRC EagleEyes antenna pan/tilt system with HS-645MG servos & extra sidecar add on, 2x 900mHz A/V RX units utilizing 1x 8dB patch antenna and 1x 3dB rubber ducky antenna atop a tripod. Flights are viewed/captured via laptop using EasyCap 2.0 usb audio/video interface.

Range not so great, about 60 yards with clear view. There are rx / brushless upgrade to address this
i just orderd a heng long M41 walker bulldog w/ metal upgrade as well and im wondering what kind of range you get out of your tiger
